About Bella Loc Homes
Bella Loc Homes is a family-owned business that started with a dream 15 years ago in Des Moines. We have been coming to Okoboji since we were kids and have carried on the tradition with our 3 kids and 2 dogs.
In March of 2020, we came up to our lake home with the intention of going back to Des Moines in the fall. During that time we found that Okoboji was home, so we sold our house in Des Moines and moved to Spirit Lake full time. Emily helps with the design and selection process. Chad handles the building process.
Together, we have over 20 years building and construction experience. We have a great team behind us with offices in the greater Des Moines area and now we will cover Okoboji, including West Okoboji, East Okoboji, and Spirit Lake, to ensure your design, build, or renovation go as smoothly as possible.

We hired Bella Loc Homes for our remodel on West Lake Okoboji based off of their sister company WGB Construction doing a large remodel for us in Waukee, IA. As expected, they did a fantastic job! The portal that they use to keep you up to date with pictures and schedules really helps when you are 4 hours away and can’t always be on site. Their upfront work on budgets helps ensure the project comes in on budget.
